Manu, more than a restaurant
Restaurant Manu won the One-To-Watch award of the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018 and is currently #42 in the list. Buffara is a true game changer and this is not only reflected in her restaurant. She helped many of her local suppliers to develop into a sustainable company. In addition, she runs several local social projects, such as an urban beehive initiative, setting up city farms, training the local youth and leading campaigns for litter, water and waste reduction. During her career, Buffara worked at restaurants including Noma in Copenhagen and Alinea in Chicago.
Guest-chef events 2.0
RIJKS® opened its doors 5 years ago. Since then, chef Joris Bijdendijk has regularly invited internationally renowned guest chefs. Mauro Colagreco (no. 1 at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants) was the 30th top chef who came to cook at RIJKS®. This event was the last to be edition in the old form. Starting this year, the restaurant takes a new course in organizing events.
We host the most extraordinary chefs in the world. They all have a unique story and they give meaning to the profession and the environment in their own way. We will focus more on the content. Guest-chef events 2.0. says Bijdendijk.

De vleesvrije week in RIJKS® start op 9 maart. Ook de andere horecagelenheden van het Rijksmuseum doen hieraan mee.
During the RIJKS® x Manu event we serve a menu consisting of 6 snacks and 6 courses (meatless) for € 110 per person.
Reservations can be made in the online module on this page. All current availability is shown in the here. The reservation can be confirmed via a deposit, which can be paid when the booking is completed. We ask you to inform us about dietary requirements and allergies in advance so that the correct preparations for the menu can be made.
