This is Trading Spaces
Restaurants Locavore (Ubud, Bali) and RIJKS® (Amsterdam, Netherlands) take on the challenge of their biggest chef’s event so far. Under the name Trading Spaces, chefs Eelke Plasmeijer exchange continent, restaurant and life with Joris Bijdendijk from 23 to 26 May.
During the exchange, the chefs simultaneously move their entire restaurant to the other side of the world. Guest in Amsterdam are welcomed in the best restaurant in Indonesia, Locavore. In Bali it’s exactly the other way around.
In the space of a few days the chefs rebuild their new temporary restaurant into a familiar habitat. Both teams are challenged creatively. Visiting the local markets, where they get their ingredients to cook a signature menu. Guests can anticipate an unforgettable culinary adventure.

RIJKS®, Amsterdam <> Locavore, Bali
During this event chefs Eelke Plasmeijer and Ray Adriansyah serve their Locavore menu at RIJKS®. This menu consists 6 courses during lunch and 8 courses during dinner. Prices are €85 / €120 p.p. (excluding drinks).

We ask you to inform us about dietary requirements and allergies in advance so the correct preparations for the menu can be made.
We ask all guests for a deposit of €50 per person to confirm your booking. The payment can be made directly online via IDeal or credit card while finalizing the reservation.
