RIJKS® is the restaurant of the Rijksmuseum.
Executive chef Joris Bijdendijk and kitchen chefs Ivan Beusink and Yascha Oosterberg, introduce Low countries’ cuisine ‘Low Food’, which is firmly rooted in Dutch produce – in all its modest glory. Th kitchen team draw their inspiration from ingredients grown on Dutch soil, often also making use of the many international flavours that have influenced Dutch cuisine across the centuries.
RIJKS® serves an a la carte menu and the our Rijkstable menu during lunch and dinner. The ‘Rijkstable’ is a tasting menu of 6 signature dishes for €79.
During lunch a lunch menu is also available consisting three dishes for €42 and four dishes for €52.
For centuries the Dutch have gone to the four corners of the world to learn about wine. They have been merchants and cultivators. The RIJKS® wine list draws inspiration from this.
In the restaurant we also have wines by the glass, a wine package and cellar wines available.
